Refund & Returns Policy
At Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Computing, we aim to ensure our customers receive quality products and reliable service. Please read our refund and return conditions carefully before making a purchase.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you changed your mind or the product did not meet your expectations. Please ensure that all product details and compatibility information are reviewed prior to purchase.
Unopened Products
If a product is unopened and in its original packaging, a return may be accepted at the discretion of Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Computing. Approved returns will incur a restocking fee, and all shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Faulty or Defective Products
If a product appears to be faulty or not functioning as intended:
- Please contact us as soon as possible with your proof of purchase and a description of the fault.
- As an authorised reseller, we will lodge a warranty claim or return merchandise authorisation (RMA) with the relevant supplier or manufacturer on your behalf.
- The item will be assessed by the supplier or manufacturer to determine whether the issue qualifies as:
- Dead on Arrival (DOA), or
- Covered under warranty.
- If confirmed, a replacement or repair will be arranged according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
Please note that warranty turnaround times may vary depending on the supplier and product type.
Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee. Our policy does not limit your rights to a repair, replacement, or refund in cases where the product:
- Has a major failure, or
- Does not perform as described or expected.
The timeframe for warranty or refund eligibility will depend on the nature of the product, the type of fault, and what is considered reasonable for the item’s expected lifespan.
Additional Notes
- Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required for all return and warranty claims.
- Products showing signs of misuse, modification, or physical damage are not eligible for refund or replacement.
- Software licenses, digital keys, and downloadable items are non-refundable once activated or accessed.
- Warranty periods and coverage vary by manufacturer and product category.
- For devices under manufacturer warranty, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Computing may assist with submitting a claim on your behalf, but the final outcome and timeframe are determined by the supplier or manufacturer.
- Shipping or courier costs related to warranty returns are generally the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated by the supplier.
